Women's
Ministry
There are a number of circle groups that fall under the
umbrella of "Women's Ministry." They include Coffee Break
Bible Study, Stitches Circle, Women's Bible Study and Meals
Ministry. In their own unique way,
each offers opportunity for spiritual growth, outreach and
fellowship.
The four continuing circle groups are:
Stitches Circle
- At present a group of approximately 10 ladies meet at 1:00 p.m.
the 2nd Tuesday of each month to sew quilts & bibs for babies, and
to prepare items for "mom's" gift baskets for the Elisha House Ministry
in Welland. (nb - sewing skills are not necessary)
Newcomers are most welcome!
Women's Bible Study- Meets from 7:30-9:00 p.m. every
other Wednesday evening from January to May.
Our most current study beginning January 9th, 2008 is a DVD/workbook
study by Nancy Leigh DeMoss entitled "Seeking Him - Experiencing
the Joy of Personal Revival". Please contact the Church Office for further details.
Meals Ministry - We are pleased to provide
meals for the new moms, those in hospital and those
grieving the loss of a loved one. This is a ministry of both
practical help and loving care.
